DIY Projects

Thanks to my friend Amy's talented husband, I now have a wedding monogram to use on things like programs, etc.  I thought I'd stick it all over everything!  I purchased these lined paper treat bags online from www.nashvillewraps.com. They come in mass quantities, perfect for wedding favors.  I bought a ream of the lime green paper from Office Max and used a 3" circle punch which I got from Michael's.  Use your 40% off coupon!

While perusing at Tuesday Morning, waiting for traffic to die down for my commute home from work, I came across the perfect box for $6.99 to use as a card box.  Another great thing to stick this monogram on.  I wrapped the lime green ribbon around it, too.  This took me about 30 seconds to make.  One more thing off my list!

Shoes I Can't Have

I've looked everywhere for these fabulous Nine West JoJus in apple green.  They have been discontinued, but a girl can dream, can't she!?

I really love the added bling!

So, if you or someone you know wants to sell them, I'm a size 10.  Ha!

Invitations

I love, love, love this!  But I don't know where to find it!  I'm sure if I used my resources, I could probably make it myself.  I am a crafty DIY kind of gal!

Centerpieces

My whole idea for my wedding theme came from one of the first bridal magazines that I read.  There was a very small picture of a small centerpiece arrangement.  The bride had used some sort of black and white floral paper to wrap the small containers, and then finished it off with a lime green ribbon around it.  The flowers in it and what I've decided to use for my wedding were lime green spider mums, berries, orchids (of course!), and lots of other green stuff with these brilliant punches of fuschia scattered throughout.  It was love at first sight, so it's been pretty easy for me to come up with my vision. Here is my sample of what it will end up looking like, but I only had fake orchids to play around with. The pot is actually a coffee can!

Bride's Bouquet

This has probably been my favorite part of the planning so far.  Green orchids are my absolute favorite, so it was a no-brainer when it was time to find pictures of bouquets that I adore.  My main flower will be the orchid, but I will have a mixture of other things with pops of fuchsia in everything else.
